I have been a very vocal critique of Topix.com and their inability to police and moderate their forums but I would be remiss if I didn't disclose that at least in my case, they HAVE deleted many offending comments. As a matter of fact, as soon as I began blogging about Topix.com and more specifically Chris Tolles, the offending comments that were reported over and over again magically disappeared.
However, Topix.com doesn't delete them any faster than Google will index them or the cyber stalker will post them. It is now 3:35 p.m. I received a Google Alert at 2:35 p.m. today, almost immediately after a defaming comment was posted on Topix.com. In fact, that was not the only one.

Today, Manifesting herself as "Pink Elephant" and "DesireeWins" and hailing from various locations ranging from Germany to several locations in the United States, the person cyber stalking me has written no less than 10 comments in two hours, and she seems to be on a roll. The comments consist of the same mumbo jumbo criticisms, that I am a cyber stalker, a welfare recipient, black, a drug addict, a bad mother, and talentless writer and then, lol, links to my blog and the petitions I've signed including copy and pastes of my writing. You can't get better advertisement than that.
Here is the latest manifestation, 19 minutes after it was posted on Topix, I received a Google alert again.
This has been going on, of course, for over six months, but how long will moderators stand by idly while this deranged person floods their forums with defaming posts? As we speak, numerous posts and comments are being made to prove my point and Topix is proving my point further by doing nothing.

UPDATE: As of 7:10 p.m., after several more Google Alerts and numerous comments/posts, most of the offending posts/comments are gone EXCEPT the one above!!! Do Topix admins agree that I have never been published? Or that I am trying to "take down" Google, Topix and Facebook (Facebook? Who said anything about Facebook?). Do they believe that I am on welfare? They deleted the troll's comments but not this topic, which was started by the troll, or the comment where one of their regulars quotes the troll. . . . maybe they're having a meeting on that one.
